For the past 20 years Pacific Film & New Media Academy (PFMA) formally known as Victoria Motion Picture School, has provided fulltime certificate programs in Motion Picture Production and Acting for the Screen.

January of 2009 started off to a busy month; under new ownership PFMA was born. New administration and instructors came aboard to create our professional team. We have all dedicated ourselves to the campus providing a positive atmosphere for all students and faculty. Through out the year many changes have been made both big and small, below is a list of some of our great accomplishments:

• recruited industry professional instructors bringing the industry world into the classroom
• added a brand new 3D Animation Department providing part-time and full-time programs
• integrated ALL three full-time programs; Acting, Animation and Film giving students the opportunity to work together emulating the work force
• recently renovated our 751 Discovery Street location
